Suicide, If Someone Tells You Something And It Is Anti-Life, Say Something!

Suicide is considered a "issues of life"
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life" Proverbs 4:23

Let Us Pray:
Almighty God, today the Christian community take authority over all named and unnamed spirit that is anti-life that is seeking someone right now to destroy. God whoever that person may be dispatch your angels who are called by your name according to Psalm 91 to conduct a 911 call on someones life. Shutdown all the negative stories in their mind as You Almighty God start the process of  renewing their gifted mind right now. We the Christian community activate Isaiah 54:17 throughout their body, soul, spirit and mind who are crying out for help. God intervene on behalf of someone  who is asking, "I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth. He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber. Psalm 121:1-3

Scripture Reading: Psalm 118:17, Psalm 71:1
Someone needs to know, you "shall not die, but live, and declare the works of the Lord.  In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.

"Lack of Knowledge" Segment: Suicide
"My people are destroyed for Lack of Knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee..."for not being diligent  to learn various knowledge for personal growth, development  and awareness. Hosea 4:6

A year ago a good friend of mine attempted suicide by jumping off a bridge onto a busy highway. Recently a close family member also attempted suicide four times who is between the age range of 13 –15 by hanging; who has never taken drugs in their life which is a medical fact.

This is how I know God has a plan for both of these precious lives.... they are ALIVE! I imagine God putting darkness on notice by declaring somebody is praying for them. Both of these two individuals survived who are getting professional help and  the unconditional support they need to transition them into a state of wholeness instead of pain.

Question would you be able to recognize the signs of suicide?
"Lack of knowledge" regarding suicide can cost a life. Each of us have it within us to save a life, provide resources, help someone, support someone or just listening and not saying a word. If it is anti-life in nature say something.

One of the things everyone can start doing right now, is to be patient with you, be kind to you and always persevere. Your purpose in this life is to always act within the best interest of you and if you need help tell someone.  Asking for help is a sign of strength not weakness.

No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 54:17

Devotional: Fitting In
Lee is a diligent and reliable bank employee. Yet he often finds himself sticking out like a sore thumb for living out his faith. This reveals itself in practical ways, such as when he leaves the break room during an inappropriate conversation. At a Bible study, he shared with his friends, “I fear that I’m losing promotion opportunities for not fitting in.”

Believers during the prophet Malachi’s time faced a similar challenge. They had returned from exile and the temple had been rebuilt, but there was skepticism about God’s plan for their future. Some of the Israelites were saying, “It is futile to serve God. What do we gain by carrying out his requirements . . . ? But now we call the arrogant blessed.

Certainly evildoers prosper, and even when they put God to the test, they get away with it” (Malachi 3:14–15).

Lord, help us to keep on encouraging one another to stay faithful to You in this faithless world.

How can we stand firm for God in a culture that tells us we will lose out if we don’t blend in? The faithful in Malachi’s time responded to that challenge by meeting with like-minded believers to encourage each other. Malachi shares this important detail with us: “The Lord listened and heard” (v. 16).

God notices and cares for all who fear and honor Him. He doesn’t call us to “fit in” but to draw closer to Him each day as we encourage each other. Let’s stay faithful!

Men’s Devotional: Soar Like an Eagle or Walk Like a Pigeon
“They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” Isaiah 40:31

My buddy Dan loves eagles. And while he loves to see them up close in nature he hates seeing eagles in a cage. His thinking goes like this: a “sitting eagle” is a oxymoron. Imagine being created to soar but being grounded in perpetuity in a zoo. Think about it for a second. This is a bird designed by God to drift, wings spread effortlessly, over mountains, climbing thermals and climbing many miles with ease. As far as birds go eagles are strong. They can ascend to 10,000 feet or more, they rarely have to flap their wings when migrating to feeding areas and yet they can hit speeds up to seventy five mile per hour when descending to nest or munch on a rabbit.

We need to be reminded that every God’s man is an eagle not a pigeon. Many are practically and spiritually acting as if they were pigeons. They are majestic, highly created servants of God who are acting out of character, contrary to their design, wings tucked, and imprisoned by their own bad thinking about themselves and their God. They are swallowing the lies of their feelings, flesh, and fantasies about who they are and what they are supposed to be experiencing.

Amid the winds of change and challenge, God’s Man must activate, partner and grow with the Holy Spirit – God’s active power on earth. Practically, we do this by embracing the four key SOAR principles,. Say yes to the Holy Spirit now. Open new doors to the Holy Spirit. Actively pursue the powers of the Holy Spirit. Release the power of the Holy Spirit.
