Scriptural Living Is Ongoing Scriptural Work



Sometimes during our Christian journey we go through unspeakable stuff, marital stuff, hurtful stuff, painful stuff and in the midnight hour we cry out to God and ask why? Why is not important. What is important is this: How are you going to scripturally respond to your anti-scriptural situation?

Your situation is a scriptural test to see if you are scripturally prepared to make a scriptural decision. Belief is a prerequisite for scriptural manifestation and you are the only one that can self-determine one’s scriptural position to self calm the storm of life.

Step #1 
In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 1 Thessalonians 5:18

Step #2 
Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Isaiah 43:18-19 

Step# 3 
Judge not, and ye shall not be judged: condemn not, and ye shall not be condemned: forgive, and ye shall be forgiven:  But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses. Luke 6:37Matthew 6:15 

Step #4 
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. Romans 8:28

Step #5 
Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge. Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile. Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: Wherefore laying aside all malice, and all guile, and hypocrisies, and envies, and all evil speakings, James 4:11, Psalm 34:13, Ephesians 4:31, 1 Peter 2:1

Step #6 
Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 

Step #7       
Acknowledge what you are dealing with is not physical but spiritual; “for we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places. (For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strong holds;) Casting down imaginations, and every high thing that exalteth itself against the knowledge of God, and bringing into captivity every thought to the obedience of Christ; And having in a readiness to revenge all disobedience, when your obedience is fulfilled. Ephesians 6:12, 2 Corinthians 10:4-6 

Step #8 
Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:2
What are “Issues of life” and how will “issue of life” affect your relationship in your marriage? 

  • “Issue of life - Pride - The fear of the Lord is to hate evil: pride and arrogancy, and the evil way, and the froward mouth, do I hate. Proverbs 8:13
  • “Issue of life - Adultery - Thou shalt not commit adultery. But whoso committeth adultery with a woman (or man) lacketh understanding: he (or her) that doeth it destroyeth his (or her) own soul. Exodus 20:14Proverbs 6:32

“Issue of life” - making excuses and being not being accountable to scripture is a sin if you are a Christian.


“Issue of life” is abuse and “having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away. 2 Timothy 3:5

“Issues of life” is anti-love or conditional love. Beloved, if God so loved us, we ought also to love one another. No man hath seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwelleth in us, and his love is perfected in us.

“Issue of life” is not studying the word of God  “...to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 2 Timothy 2:15

“Issue of life” is covet 

“Issue of life" is anger and not seeking out help to help manager your anger.Be not hasty in thy spirit to be angry: for anger resteth in the bosom of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9

“Issue of life” is lying and not being authentic "Remove from me the way of lying: and grant me thy law graciously.Lying lips are abomination to the Lord: but they that deal truly are his delight.” Psalm 119:29Proverbs 12:22

“issue of life” is physical murder or spiritual murdering one’s spirit or will to live.

“Issue of life” is stealing

“Issue of life” is making people, places or things becoming your worship or your god  For as I passed by, and beheld your devotions, I found an altar with this inscription, To The Unknown God. Whom therefore ye ignorantly worship, him declare I unto you. Acts 17:23

 is "lack of knowledge”
My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because thou hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject thee, that thou shalt be no priest to me: seeing thou hast forgotten the law of thy God, I will also forget thy children.Hosea 4:6

“Issue of life is scriptural lawlessness. 

“Issues of life” is contempt of scripture is not applying the word to your life, to your action or inaction.
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.  Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him. Add thou not unto his words, lest he reprove thee, and thou be found a liar. John 1:1, Proverbs 30:5-6

“Issue of life” is being disrespectful to your mother or your father

“isuse of life is spreading  hate  such as the Westboro Baptist Church. Hate is not the gospel of Jesus Christ. 

“Issues of life” is religious bullying and abuse of power. "Woe be unto the pastors that destroy and scatter the sheep of my pasture! saith the Lord. Therefore thus saith the Lord God of Israel against the pastors that feed my people; Ye have scattered my flock, and driven them away, and have not visited them: behold, I will visit upon you the evil of your doings, saith the Lord. Jeremiah 23:1-7
Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper. The ungodly are not so: but are like the chaff which the wind driveth away. Therefore the ungodly shall not stand in the judgment, nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous. For the Lord knoweth the way of the righteous: but the way of the ungodly shall perish. Psalm 1 

Step #9
Abstain from all appearance of evil. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: Dearly beloved, I beseech you as strangers and pilgrims, abstain from fleshly lusts, which war against the soul. 

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. Step #10 
And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier. 2 Timothy 2:2-4King James Version (KJV)

The Lord looked down from heaven upon the children of men, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God. Psalm 14:2


Letting go of yesterday is always self-determined to start the process to break every “issues of life” chain(s) off of your mind and off of your life.  There is power in the name of Jesus! 

For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 3:23, 1 John 1:9, John 3:16

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Seek ye the Lord while he may be found, call ye upon him while he is near: Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts: and let him return unto the Lord, and he will have mercy upon him; and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. Hebrews 4:122 Peter 3:9, Isaiah 55:6-9, 

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" anything and everything that is anti-scriptural, antichrist, anti-God or any anti-scriptural expectations to operate in my life.  No weapon that is formed against (my life) shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against (me) in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord. Isaiah 54:17 

What is your scriptural identity? Is it Romans 8:37? "Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us” I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13
