Scriptural Change Requires Your Full Participation

Worship Song : You Know My Name

Today is your season and your opportunity to change. Change is a choice and change begins and ends with a commitment to God and scripture if you are seeking scriptural transformation.

My Summary on Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 Psalm 23:1 is a scriptural set up making a bold statement understanding, "the Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want" creates an atmosphere of  acknowledging one's season. Do you know what season you are in? This is your season to "...work out your own salvation with fear and trembling." Philippians 2:12

"To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven" Seasons are purposeful to push you to become purpose driven by scripture to cast down self, the past and anti-scriptural dispositions demanding your to be present to new possibilities.

A time to be born ( of the things design by God for your life) and a time to die (to self), a time to plant (scripture back into your life) and a time to pluck up that which is planted" that is antichrist, anti-God and anti-scripture.

"A time to kill" the spirit of rebellion, hate, anger, stubbornness, "bearing false witness against yoru neighbours, inconsistency, bitterness, strife, evil thoughts and the spirit of flip flopping.

"A time to heal" and addressed the unhealed within you and I. A time to breakdown" any internal strongholds that is separating me from Jesus Christ, God and scripture. This must include spirit of narcissistic tendency consideration which is a learnt behaviour from childhood.

"A time to build up" the word of God within me one verse, one book, one chapter, one devotion and one discussion at a time.

"A time to weep' about some unspeakable pain, this is why situations seem out of control to control your relationship with God.

"A time to laugh, a time to mourn, and a time to dance with your circumstance to know when to let it go to have that situation dance on its own without you to grow.

A time to cast away stones in one's life that has become a stumbling block, to block out hope, to block out one's own deliverance, to block out God"s scriptural promise and to block out my purpose of the profound reason as to why am I here?

"A time to gather (scriptural) stones together; a time to embrace (sound advice) and a time to refrain from embracing" hypocrisy, judging without factual, evidence, spiritual and revelation understanding to override one's own lack of knowledge ignorance. "But if any man be ignorant, let him be ignorant" 1 Corinthians 14:38

A time to get, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away "the thought of foolishness is sin: and the scorner is an abomination to men. For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous. Proverbs 24:9, Romans 5:19

A time to rend ( unconditional love, patience, kindness and your service to others by operating from a pure heart.

"A time to sew" the word of God into someone's life daily and not expect anything back in return whenever you change and affect lives.

A time to keep silence whenever you are going through some heartbreaking moments. Silence is your scriptural protection, to ensure you are not speaking from an emotional place but from a scriptural place.

A time to speak boldly with the ability understanding one have the right to agree to disagree with your opinions, perspectives, expectations and self created ideologies.

A time to love (unconditionally without any expectation)  and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace."And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. As a Christian we must "be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. Philippians 4:7,6,8

Change will take place when your surrender your mind, your heart, your action and inaction to God instead of self.  Change means owning 50%, the role you play in situations and circumstances. Life lesson includes regrets, mistakes and letting go.

FORGIVE is the beginning of change.

Forgiveness, "Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”

Surrender to the word of God not to self.

Christians, unconditional forgiveness is scriptural and it is the scriptural expectation Jesus Christ demonstrated in partnership with scripture. Jesus Christ was a trailblazer in forgiveness. “Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do”. Luke 23:34

We must forgive the unforgivable in order for God to heal the unhealed pain within us. This is why we must self; “examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates” in the sin of not forgiving others.   2 Corinthians 13:5

Forgiveness is not conditional but unconditional.

Forgiveness is like a key you need in this life to unlock and release yourself from bitterness and being hurt from what happened yesterday while standing in the presence of today."Remember ye not the former things, neither consider the things of old.”  Isaiah 43:18

Not forgiving someone will keep you in a perpetual state of malice, evil speaking, anger, mean spiritedness and hate. "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:"

James 4:11 Speak not evil one of another, brethren. He that speaketh evil of his brother, and judgeth his brother, speaketh evil of the law, and judgeth the law: but if thou judge the law, thou art not a doer of the law, but a judge.

Ephesians 4:31 "Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice:" Sad to say, the state of non forgiveness if you are a Christian, will keep you out of the kingdom of God and outsource you to hell because you are unlike Christ with a Christlessness disposition.

I personally choose to forgive and forgiveness has many layers, like an onion. Stay strong and stay focused in scripture. Scripture is a builder of forgiveness but it will take time.  A few years ago I had to forgive the unforgivable.

Be patient with the forgiveness process which is designed to refine you with the determination to not have situations define you. Psalm 86:5 states “for thou, Lord, art good, and  ready  to forgive; and
plenteous in mercy unto all them that call upon thee.
Matthew 6:14-15 declares “For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you: But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses "We must develop and maintain the capacity to forgive.

"He who is devoid of the power to forgive is devoid of the power to love. There is some good in the worst of us and some evil in the best of us. When we discover this, we are less prone to hate our enemies. Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness. Strength of character means the ability to overcome resentment against others, to hide hurt feelings, and to forgive quickly. Certainly people make mistakes in their life. I'm no different, I've made mistakes. When people mess up, we forgive them. When I mess up, I ask for forgiveness. Many promising reconciliations have broken down because while both parties come prepared to forgive, neither party come prepared to be forgiven. The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong”. Martin Luther King, Jr., Marianne Williamson,  Lawrence G. Lovasik,  Michele Bachmann, Charles Williams , Mahatma Gandhi

If you are a Christian I pray you will forgive those who have done the unspeakable and the unthinkable. Listen to this song to transition you to be scripturally present to forgive.

"Trust In The Lord With All Thine Heart"

"Verily I say unto you, I know you not” because you refuse to submit your entire life God and you refused to trust me as your God outline in Romans 13:1-3 "Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of God: the powers that be are ordained of God. Whosoever therefore resisteth the power, resisteth the ordinance of God: and they that resist shall receive to themselves damnation. For rulers are not a terror to good works, but to the evil. Wilt thou then not be afraid of the power? do that which is good, and thou shalt have praise of the same”

Do you trust God?

Do you really, really, really, trust God?

Did you know to not trust God will outsource God to increase self. Not trusting God is contempt of scripture, under representing scriptures, scriptural lawlessness, scriptural selectiveness and scriptural disobedience.

Mistrusting God will scritpurally ask your this profound Matthew 16:26 question; "For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the wholeworld, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?

Some Christians for whatever reason, have a dysfunctional relationship with trust, creating an “issues of life” dysfunction called mistrust between scripture, between God and relationships. Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life. Proverbs 4:23

Some individuals, do not 100% trust God because some of us have a need to control anything and everything. Balance is key and the negative need to control is not scriptural.

It is important for God to control you instead of you directly or indirectly trying to control God every step you take.

This is why all Christians must on purpose give ourselves away daily back to God, so God can unconditionally use us.

If you have a mistrust relationship with God how can God unconditionally use you?  Job 13:15 must be a position Christians should daily self declare. "Though he slay me (which is our perceived circumstances, trial, heartbreak and painful experiences), yet will I trust in him: but I will maintain mine own ways before him” who is God in my own situation. It is up to us to make a trust decision to trust God.

Proverbs 3:4-6 declares; "So shalt thou find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man.Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”

Proverbs 3:4-6 scripturally commands and scripturally demands all Christians to trust God instead of self trusting self.

Some Christians need to re-establish trust with God by declaring over their life this bold statement by saying to God, as the the song writer states:

So You can use me
Here I am
Here I stand
Lord, my life is in your hands
Lord, I'm longing to see Your desires revealed in me I give myself away Lord, my life is in your hands

Take my heart Take my life As a living sacrifice All my dreams, all my plans Lord I place them in your hands"

Scripture will direct us as to what we need to do regarding trust. "O Lord my God, in thee do I put my trust: save me from all them that persecute me, and deliver me: And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, Lord, hast not forsaken them that seek thee. In the Lord put I my trust: how say ye to my soul, Flee as a bird to your mountain? But I have trusted in thy mercy; my heart shall rejoice in thy salvation. Psalm 7:1, Psalm 9:10, Psalm 11:1, Psalm 13:5

Preserve me, O God: for in thee do I put my trust. The Lord is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strength, in whom I will trust; my buckler, and the horn of my salvation, and my high tower. Psalm 16:1, Psalm 18:2 As for God, his way is perfect: the word of the Lord is tried: he is a buckler to all those that trust in him. Shew thy marvellous loving kindness, O thou that savest by thy right hand them which put their trust in thee from those that rise up against them. Psalm 18:30, Psalm 17: 7 In thee, O Lord, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion. Psalm 71:1

If we do not trust God, expect the spirit of mistrust and the spirit of confusion to become your god. "Thou shalt have no other gods before me”  Exodus 20:3

Mistrust will show up in your worship, in your ministry, in your various relationships, your devotion, your action and in actions.

Today let us; "Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?”

Let us with scripture, disarm the reprobate spirit of mistrust to stop the process of Romans 1:28 from uprooting us from God which states "And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind (of mistrust), to do those things which are not scripturally” convenient to do.

Will you now make a scriptural decision to right now to;  “trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths”

Today Lord, I will trust YOU!

Commit thy way unto the Lord; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. Psalm 37:5
